What are the Box Office Operating Hours?

Box Office Open Times: 10am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

How do I book a ticket or a Gift Voucher?

To book simply hop onto our website, click on the left hand tab “WHAT’S ON” then choose from the selection of shows displayed. Once you have decided click the “BOOK NOW” or “GIFT VOUCHER” button and follow the prompts. Otherwise you can also call the Box Office on (02) 8915 1899, or visit us in person at 41 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst NSW 2010.

Are minors allowed in the venue?

Patrons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or guardian when attending our shows. Most of our performances have a recommended age of 16+. Please ask the box office for more information.


Can I exchange my ticket or gift voucher?

Once ticket/s or gift voucher/s are booked they cannot be exchanged/refunded/transferred. Exchanges will only be offered for specific circumstances, such as event cancellation, as outlined in the Entertainment Code of Fair practice. We do not exchange ticket/s or gift voucher/s as stated in the Terms and Conditions. Slide ticket and gift vouchers


Can I get a refund on my ticket if I can’t use them?

Once tickets are booked, they are non-refundable. Refunds will only be offered for specific circumstances, such as event cancellation, as outlined in the Entertainment Code of Fair practice. We suggest if you cannot use your tickets/gift voucher to gift them to friends/family you may wish, otherwise your ticket/s will expire.


I’ve lost my tickets; can you issue me duplicate tickets?

Simply print out another copy from the confirmation email you have received, otherwise your name will be on a list on arrival. Please contact the Box Office as soon as you realise you have mislaid your ticket/s on [email protected] or (02) 8915 1899, or visit us at 41 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst NSW 2010.


The performance I have tickets for has been cancelled, what can I do?

All ticket holders may exchange into another performance of the same production, or into another Slide’s production of equal value, both options are subject to availability. We will refund any patron who is unable to attend another show.


Can I offer my tickets to someone else if I cannot use them?

Yes, but you should advise the Box Office of this to avoid any complications on the day/night and they must be over 18years of age or accompanied by a guardian or parent.


I’ve missed my performance, what can I do?

Unfortunately, we cannot refund or exchange tickets from a past show.


Do you handle group bookings?

Yes, we do take group bookings. For group bookings please call the Box Office on (02) 8915 1899. Special offers apply for groups of 10 [*subject only to specific shows, please enquire with the Box Office.


Do you offer beverage packages?

We don’t offer beverage packages unless you are hosting an exclusive venue function. There is full table service available for beverage orders, guests can pay as they go or run bar tab. Please enquire with the box office on (02) 8915 1899.


Can I buy tickets on the night at the door?

All tickets must be pre-paid online, in person at the Box Office or purchased over the phone with a MasterCard or Visa credit card.


Is there a dress code?

Many people dress up for the dinner and show experience to make it a special occasion, but smart casual is fine as well. For special event such as The Gin Mill Social, etc., we encourage patrons to dress up to suit the theme of the event.


How do I redeem my gift vouchers?

Gift Vouchers can be redeemed via our website, over the phone (02) 8915 1899, or visit us at 41 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst NSW 2010.

NOTE: If you have booked through a third party agency (Ticketek, etc.) please contact them directly about this.


I’ve lost my gift voucher, can you issue me a duplicate voucher?

If you have lost your gift voucher/s you will need to email or call the Booking Manager [email protected] or (02) 8915 1899


In most cases the Box Office can issue a replacement lost Gift Voucher/s but we will ask you to confirm the basic details of the booking in order to do this, please contact the Box Office as soon as you realise you have mislaid your gift voucher/s on [email protected] or (02) 8915 1899, or visit us at 41 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst NSW 2010.


Can I hire the venue exclusively for my event?

Certainly! We specialise in hosting unique and custom private and corporate events. Please contact the Functions Manager Jeremy Brennan with enquiries [email protected]


What if I cannot access the links and pages on this site?

Please call the box office on (02) 8915 1899 or email [email protected] with your query and contact details. We will get back to you and give you the information you need.


Is there violence/smoking/nudity/coarse language/heavy subjects matter in the play I am about to see?

We try to be as clear in our marketing material as possible as we do not wish to offend personal sensibilities and values. On this website we include language, violence, nudity, and try to give some indication of the themes and subject matter of each production. We are a non-smoking venue. We post warnings outside the entrance to the venue about strobe lighting, smoke machines, very loud noise, and smoking. Where can I pick up a brochure/flyer?

At the Slide Box office at 41 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst NSW 2010, or the Seymour Centre, The Rocks Information Centre, and the Darling Harbour Information Centre.


Can I use my tablet or smartphone to purchase tickets online?

Yes. Our website is mobile and tablet friendly  and booking tickets on the go is quick and easy.


Who do I contact for lost property?

Do you have on site parking?

No. Slide does not have onsite parking, but if you prefer a hassle-free experience, the nearest parking is located at The Pullman Sydney Hyde Park, just a short walk from our front door. Slide customers can take advantage of our special Pullman parking rates in their secure car park facilities:


Self Parking:

Slide customer rate $25 from 5pm till 12am (standard price: $55)
Access via Francis St (off College St).
Before returning to your car, present your Slide show ticket at the front desk with your parking ticket.


Valet Parking:

Slide customer rate $40 from 5pm till 12pm (standard price $65)
Access via 36 College St (Pullman front entrance)

Do you accommodate disables/wheelchairs?

Yes, we are wheelchair accessible and we have disabled amenities available located on the ground floor level. The stage, bar & seating is located on the ground floor level, excludes mezzanine level. Please let staff know at the time of booking if you require these so we can allocate the best table possible.


I would like to supply feedback on the show I attended, how do I do this?

What time do I need to arrive? Also, what times does the performance finishes?

Our door opens at 6:30pm; show starts at 7:30pm SHARP (Lock-out policy applies). Show finishes at 10:30pm. At the conclusion of El Circo the venue will transform into a Nightclub where El Circo guests are welcome to stay for a dance and drinks.


What if I’m late and the performance has started?

Slide has a ‘lock-out’ policy; a period after the performance starts. Lock-out periods are set by the production and vary from show to show. Most often you will be asked to wait for a few minutes before being let into the theatre at an appropriate time. In much rarer cases, you will only be allowed to enter during interval.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer refunds or partial refunds due to missing parts of the show, as per the Live Performance Australia ticketing code of practice.


Is there somewhere safe I can leave my suitcase?

We do not have any cloak room service. However, you might choose to leave your suitcase in the security office near the foyer area.

Can we bring takeaway food or any alcohol into the venue?

No. We don’t allow food or drinks to be brought into the venue from outside. We are fully licensed venue and have bars in the venue that provide a wide range of beverages.

Can I bring a small child to sit on my lap? 

Slide’s current productions are not suitable for children under the age of fifteen (15) years. All patrons attending dinner and show, regardless of age, must hold a valid ticket for the event that they are attending.

How can I sit with my friends? 

For groups who prefer to sit at the same table must book under the same name. If you have booked under different names and wish to be seated together, please advise our box office as early as your conveniences.


Can I take photos or videos of the performance?

No. Taking photos or videos with your phone, or any other device, is strictly prohibited. Not only is it a violation of copyright laws, but the flash photography can cause a safety hazard to performers. You will be reminded of this prior to the start of the performance. If you are seen using a still or video camera, you will be asked to stop and your camera may be confiscated by an usher until after the performance.

Can I reserve tickets without paying upfront?

Tickets for groups of ten or more can be reserved in advance with a certain amount of deposit. However, full payment is due four (4) weeks prior to the event. Failure to pay will result in your tickets being released back for general sale. Slide reserves the right to release tickets without further reference to the party holding the booking.

Where is the nearest hotel?

Pullman Hotel Hyde Park is the nearest 5-star hotel

Where is the nearest train station?

Museum station is the closest train station to Slide. Also, we are not far away from Central station and Town Hall station.
